Be Very Afraid

I have half a mind to get it, just so my old GI Joes have something to shoot at. They've got better lines, too. Got to get tough... Patrick McKenzie |

It's sad that a good conservative political journal like the National Review would endorse Ann Coulter. If I was a conservative, I would hope people didn't know she existed.

They don't endorse her editorial content -- she actually got fired from the magazine for her "invade [Muslim nations], kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity" op-ed. Interestingly, the failing wasn't being blatantly un-PC, but it was being unable to defend being un-PC in coherent sentences when the comments started rolling in. Their book division even sells books from Krugman on occasion, and they certainly don't endorse him

Ok... Coulter's inherent ickyness aside... isn't it funny that there is an action figure of her?? I think it does more to mock her than help her, implying that she is just a non-thinking, hate-spewing barbie doll like person.
I would also warn the left not to adopt her tactics... especially when discusing GW --- if you don't like the way she argues, make sure you couldn't change the subject of the sentence and hear it come from your own side.... Patty |

I have two problems with Ms. Coulter. 1)She is a liar. She does not merely misrepresent the facts, she makes them up. 2)She is dumber than two bags of bricks. I firmly believe that the reason she's constantly making things up is that she doesn't actually know anything.
Liberals like myself have lost most of our public raving ideologues, mainly because of the conservative swing that has pulled the left toward the center. The fact that Ann Coulter is on TV regularly, and that lying/stupid liberals are, by virtue of their disenfranchisement by the "new left" not on TV almost at all, is something that gives me pause. I weep for the conservatives who have to see their ideas bastardized and mutilated over and over again. This is the same problem I have with virtually every ranting and raving political extremist on television, or in the printed media.

My boyfriend last year hated Avril Lavigne- so I planned to get him her CD for Christmas just because of the writhing it would cause... I wish I had now- because then I would have the chance of recieving this funny gift.
Yeah. I hate her more than anything in the world- but an action figure would at least give me the opportunity to take out my frustrations against her in another fashion than talking about setting her on fire.. I could FINALLY set ANN COULTER on fire! Awesome.

I do. The more money I give to Ann Coulter the more money she has to say stupid stuff that makes me look good.
Ann Coulter, bring it on.

Yeah, Vlad's figure comes with a severed head, but Coulter comes with a severed sense of logic and humanity. Obviously Coulter is waaaayyy scarier.

I use the "dark alley" standard. Who would I rather meet in a dark alleyway? The answer, my friend, is Vlad.
