I would like to announce a CHANGE TO THE INVITE. The room rate for quad-occupancy rooms is $85. This rate will be available until Decmber 28th, as indicated by the invitation.

The deadline for receiving the tournament rate at the Crowne Plaza is this coming Friday. I know folks are busy this time of year, so this is just a friendly reminder to make reservations.

Howdy Folks,

Just a reminder that due to the typically big size of the tournament and needing to procure enough food without waste that the entry deadline is this Wednesday! Additionally, your judges judging philosophies are due then as well. There's an easy place to add their philosophies right on the forensicstournament.net website. Look forward to seeing everyone in two weeks.

RBL

As per the invite:

All entries should be submitted via the forensicstournament.net website. Please make sure that you enter both halves of the swing, if that is your choice. Entries are due by Wednesday, January 9th at 5:00 PST. This early entry deadline is necessary for the ordering food, compiling judges, and ensuring the timely distribution of strike forms.

NEW! In addition, all judges must enter a judging philosophy on forensicstournament.net by Wednesday, January 9th at 5:00PM PST. Schools that fail to enter their judge’s philosophies will forfeit the right to complete preferences/strikes. We hate to make threats concerning philosophies, but we are concerned by the need for the tournament to scramble and prod schools for philosophies. Please enter philosophies when you enter your judges to ensure that other schools have access to information so that they can make appropriate decisions concerning their preferences.

Don't forget that TODAY is the deadline for registration. I know a few schools are coming that haven't registered. If you know of other folks that have indicated that they're coming, but have yet to register, let them know to do so.

One other announcement, please make checks out to The Colorado College.

Looking forward to seeing folks in a week.
