I'm confused as to why the tourney requires us to register in person on Wednesday. Many of us still have school---SCU has finals that week, for example.

When were you planning on showing up? Round one at 8:30 Thursday morning means have to be at campus by 4 AM to line up at the door for the Mauve Thursday rush for prep room so I imagine you'll be in the Springs on Wednesday.

Entry limitations

I noticed in the invite the language about the possibility of entry limitations. What's the max number of teams the tournament can support?

Joe, while I don't want to discount the possibility of reaching the CC max (which, to be honest, I'm not quite sure of)- I can say that that language has existed in every NPDA invitation since at least Portland State in 2003 and probably before that. We definitely did not hit CC's max in 2007, and that was a 245 team tournament.

1. Yes, missing school sucks, but it is important to verify the entry to ensure that people (competitors, judges, etc) are actually there. And Chuck makes another good point, albeit a bit snarkier than maybe I would have.

2. Joe--Joe G. is right. I don't anticipate that being anywhere near a problem. It is just precautionary.

I guess I was just wishing out loud it started friday or saturday, as to avoid finals, but I guess SCU may not be entering this year.

Fax Number Change

The fax number on the Nationals invite no longer exists. The correct number is: 713-348-5929.

Sorry about the confusion!

We will likely be intending to send a hybrid team; how would we do that for signups online? Do we just register the student of the other university under our team on the FT website?
