Are you straight power-matching every round or lag-matching? If you are lag-matching, then 90 minutes should be enough time. If you are straight-matching, then you SHOULD be very late.

Also, do you announce 90 minutes after the previous topic announce or do you wait for the last ballot to come back before announcing?

Sooooooo I wasn't sure exactly how else to get ahold of Point Loma and figured net-benefits was likely the best avenue of communication. I wanted to thank the coaches and competitors, specifically those individuals in our second prelim debate who made it a priority to help me out, even though we had never met before. The assistance was greatly appreciated, and a wonderful example of the great community that has been established within the parli circuit.

Congrats to SIU for a great showing, and specifically K Calderwood for getting first speaker. Much midwest love goes out to the dawgs.

See you all tomorrow.

I know that Boulder walked over Boulder in Semis (not sure which team they advanced) and that SIU CM and UNR PA are debating in the other round...so there's that.

I am sleepy and just got back to SD, but I would like to thank Bill and everyone else who helped make this super competitive tournament go off. Everyone was super chill all weekend long, and the art gallery was a nice treat art the end.

SIU won on a 3-0. Still can't get over how much I enjoyed that round. To quote Kevin Calderwood.... "one off, 4 sheets of paper" -- that's my boy.

Both CU-Boulder and SIU did an amazing job in that debate. Congratulations to both teams!
