Strike a blow against Citizens United

Hey all. While the Supreme Court has recently doubled down on its disastrous Citizens United ruling (they struck down a 100 year old Montana ban on corporate money in elections), further greasing the wheels for what is probably the most expensive election cycle in human history, we do not need to stand idly by.

Thoughtful people of nearly any political stripe can see the corrosive action that this deluge of unregulated and secretive cash has on our electoral process (except maybe the fascists, and I feel perfectly comfortable in excluding them). There are probably groups in everyone's hometown that are opposed to the damage that unrestricted money in elections does to our democratic values. Seek them out. Support their efforts. Learn from them. Teach them.

You can also join the following effort to generate public support for the DISCLOSE Act:

Thanks.
