View Full Version : You never know who might be lying!!

So, anyways, I have it on very good authority (OK, the horses' mouths) that WesternAmy and WWUPhil have not overlooked their WWWestern roots as they were split amongst tribes for the Survivor game. And, indeed, along with ShelbyJoPDX and Liz have already formed an, until now, secret intertribal alliance.
The four of them approached me, being a logical choice as a fellow Northwesterner, suggesting that I could assist in completing their general grasp and spy network over all four tribes. Naturally, I said that I would have nothing of it!
Frankly, I now just wanted to bring this news to light for everyone early on so that all could be aware of the potentially dangeous power-shifting allegiances already forming right under our noses. Be careful whom you trust--and make sure to use your votes accordingly!
Your sincere friend always,
-Brian

you never do know who might be lying, do you Brian?

You said it, Amy. :D You're not being defensive at all, are you? ;) Oh, come on. Tell them about the e-mails you and Phil sent me trying to convince me not to reveal your plans like I did up above.

Oh Brian...
If only you knew how deep the rabbit hole goes. You silly monkey. You might realize that you were marked for removal by the Forest dwellers long ago. You and yor Georgetwon friends should go have a beer because your time here is wasted!
Why would I need to email Amy when she lives so close to me? And ask my tribe why I didn't post for four days... I was in PDX working out the whole thing with Liz and Shelby Jo. We even conferenced called you and Pres from OSU. We just figured we should let you know how screwed you were, and then you threatened to expose us!
Amy, please stop emailing me and call, that way Brian won't know about our alliance. ;)
P.S. Anyone who does want to talk about an alliance can
email me at sharp_philip@hotmail.com
PSS- I have pictures to prove tht you and Audrey have teamed up with Andrea and Kiki and Sam to rule the world.
PSSS I have it on Good authority that i have not seen or communicated with Amy or Shelby Jo in two weeks. Liz is in my tribe so I have communicated with her.
Brian Shipley, I'm completely appalled at the lack of integrity with which you approach your participation in this game. Your bilious and vitriolic lies will gain you no allies, I am sure, amongst the collected intellects present on this forum! Shelby Jo isn't even in the state to respond to your egregious accusations, but her attorneys have assured me that a class-action law suit is in order. Suffice to say I feel emotionally violated by the insidiousness of your attack on myself and my team-mates, and dare I say, all those who wanted nothing more than a little healthy sportsmanship. Bad form, Brian Shipley, bad form.

Miss Liz, you, of all people in the universe, have a pretty darn good appreciation for the true nature of my "integrity" (and not to mention my way with small children); therefore, I will just go on unfazed by your own acerbic attack. I remain confident that each of our pre-existing conceptions of each other's level of astuteness and integrity remain intact.
For everyone else, please note Liz's telltale defensive reference to those I have "attack[ed]" as her "team-mates." Unmistakably this, like the particulars Phil divulged, is a confession to the intertribal powerhouse that is stirring in our midst.
-Brian (Ninja Mafioso)
P.S. Liz, what did you think of the Oscars, anyway? E-mail me to let me know. ;)
P.P.S. Phil, associating me with Georgetown is kinda like associating Kevin McCulloch with Yale Law School. Oh, wait a second, that's sort of really disturbing.

Hey Brian, that reminds me. If you're not sick of talking about G'town, would you mind emailing or iming me about it? i have some questions.

As if I wouldn't notice that that weren't just another conspiratorial trick, Amy. You're just trying to get me to tell you that my e-mail address is shipleyb@law.georgetown.edu and that you can write me anytime with questions, so that it'll look like I admit that I lied above. Yet, we both know, as I wrote, that in actuality you already know my address and keep e-mailing me all the time attempting to convince me to keep your emerging junta quiet. Go ahead and write anytime about anything.

Phil, that PS is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. First of all, would I really be naive enough to form a 5-person alliance? Too big to keep out the backstabbers- besides the fact that particular alliance does NOTHING for me because it's composed of 2 people from one tribe and 2 from my own- a pretty sorry alliance! Now, say, an alliance between myself, Dan Pawson, and Gavin...that would hypothetically be worthwhile (I don't need to make my own Uber Hybrid contact because Brian and Audrey have a pre-existing ass-kissing agreement that outweighs even Audrey's and my own.). But just hypothetically, of course.
Also, if there actually WAS a picture with Audrey, Amy, and myself in the frame, we would have gotten a hold of it a long time a go, edited everyone else out, and proclaimed it the official A-team shot. No such photos exist!
As a final note, I would like to say the following two things:
1) Anyone who ever watched the Real World/Road Rules Challenge (oh come on, you did too) knows the potential danger of pre-existing alliances. (Holly and Chadwick! Trouble!) There are secret marriages and hidden family ties among us, I can feel it. I suggest you cough them up now.
2)I have to leave for Houston June 13th and just got my insanely intense training schedule in the mail. I probably won't be able to participate much in this game and may get kicked off, so if anyone wants to use me for short-lived schemes, I'm all ears.

Dre, you gotta figure out a way to stick around... You'll have the internet in Texas and you'll need a diversion from those long grueling days...

As always, Brian Shipley, you have an uncanny ability to discern the truth from a nest of lies. Would that you could find my car keys in there, too.
However, I categorically deny any charges leveled against me on the grounds that I was at Sea World.

First, off of Andrea's #2: Please extend Jed's post and cross-apply my original subject line ("You never know who might be lying!!"). Remember, Andrea is a highly trained member of The Ninja Mafia, too. Don't count her out just yet. But, yeah, that's it, go ahead and "use" her for "your" schemes. Please, anyone interested? :D
Second, on Liz and Shamu: It's my own ninja training--paid for by a mafia "scholarship" of sorts--Liz. "Truth Discernment 101" comes the semester right before we have the choice of the elective "Advanced Tabbing for Dummies 201" at Ninja University. Not that I made that choice . . . obviously. I can discern, however, that between Phil’s confession to the use of conference calling techniques in the propagation of your budding liaison, and my possession of both his and your cellular phone numbers, the evidence demonstrates it wouldn’t have been difficult at all for you to stay in close contact with your associates despite your timeout to fondle starfish in San Diego.
The pieces to their crumbling puzzle just keep falling into place.

um, yeah, go ninjas!
Okay, okay, we get it - you're the master of deception, the spinner of tales, the riddler, Tybalt, Prince of Cats. Anyone not awed by Brian's tremendous deductive capacity, please raise your hand.
You've left me no choice now...

...but to vote off Phil today, because he got you into this, and as others should follow your lead?
(just a suggestion for how you might have finished that intimidatingly incomplete sentence)

Brian,
Normally you dazzle me with Brilliance, today you annoy me with insullence. This banter has gone farther than we agreed. I think people are beginning to see through our clever rouse. I am worried that my tribe members, whom I love more than you know (I can explain it in 80 words or less), may listen to you. you carry so much credo in this game. You stand so little to gain by my early exit, I am sure that everyone sees that. I will call you later.

Hopefully it'll be a call to set up a conference call among those who knew what I meant when above referring to myself as "(Ninja on the outside; Terminator on the inside)," and thus could sense the even subtler brilliance of what this insolent thread will produce.
Phil, I feel confident that you won't be voted off this evening. (Note that in the graphics submitted by the tribes, it is the one holding the ninja throwing star that controls the puppet strings of this game.)
