Hey all,
I know there are some debaters out there who double as IE'ers. I'm supposed to perform a duo for my final exam in an interp class and I desperately need help finding a piece. I don't even know where to begin looking! My partner and I are looking for something humorous or witty, nothing too dark or depressing. If anyone can think of any movies with a cute/funny dialogue between a guy and girl, or if anyone can share a piece they've done in the past, I would greatly appreciate it! Post or backchannel me at Smholloway1@cs.com. Thanks,
Sarah

Movies are not the best interp scripts... people have already seen the movie and then they compare your job to the actual movie...

A couple good, easy scripts:
"Fool for Love" by Sam Shepard.... the beginning is really good, funny, and intense
"Boluxi Blues" not sure if I spelled that right
"Diary of Anne Frank" intense, not really funny
"Sylvia"
"Star Spangled Girl"
"The Nerd"
"The Foreigner"
"English Made Simple"

ok that's all off the top of my tired brain... hope it helps

I agree, movies are very bad. Great play, "Closer", not always humerous, but depending on the cutting, and how you play it, some parts could be... Oh well, good luck.
